Congratulations to the Honors Program 2017 Graduates

On Friday, May 5th, the Honors Program held its spring Cording Ceremony to honor the 2017 Honors Program graduates. Honors Program graduates complete the Honors Program curriculum and maintain at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA at AU. The Cording Ceremony is a reception which allows the faculty mentors to acknowledge the achievements of the graduates in the presence of their families.

Our impressive array of graduates completed their degrees in a wide range of subjects, from Actuarial Science to Nursing to Education.  These students were also highly involved on campus as leaders in a variety of organizations, including the Ashbrook Scholar Program, Student Senate, Color Guard, Varsity Women's Soccer, the 1Girl mentorship program, Newman Catholic Campus Ministry, the Well campus ministry, Delta Zeta sorority, and numerous academic associations.

This group also contained the valedictorian for the December 2016 graduation and both the valedictorian and salutatorian for the May 2017 graduation.
